NILS Christmas Lunch @ Bill's
Last Friday was NILS Christmas Lunch. It was held at Bill's place. It was suppose to be a fun in the sun Christmas party but it rain instead. So, it turned to be an indoor party. Everyone ( but not me... =p) dah siap bawak bathing suits coz Bill ada beautiful backyard dgn pool and all. Kesian depa..he..he...Hujan tak berhenti sejak pagi.

It was a potluck party. So everyone bawak food. Actually,each person can pick what to bring so i choose to bring dessert. Bread BUtter pudding ler apa lagi....he...he... Yang paling easy as 123 nak buat. BUt this time I buat custard sauce skali. And Since I can't eat their main course, i brought some of ayam masak merah to be eaten with the salads. Starters was provided by Llalaine and Hellen. Sedap giler, especially the Dip made by Hellen.
Then, It's makan time. Then we chatted and chatted about religous and belief...Biasalah, about Islam and Kristian, they tell me about their religous, and I told them about mine. They tanya why I can't go near the dog, Halal food and all. So, I explained to them. Then, I played with the cat. Bill's daughter, Kate ada kucing, Louie. Sangat manja and playfull. (Finally, jumpa jugak kucing, melepas rindu dgn kucing he..he...)
Then, It's desert time. Maria, Bill's wife took out my bread butter pudding, Darcy bawak a cheese cake from the Cheesecake shop, Julius bawak ondeh ondeh, Victor Ma yang baru pulang dari CHina bawak pau.he..he...plus other cookies and a selection of cheese. Tapi, they claim that the bread butter pudding really brings out the christmas feel he..he...and Maria was was like curious, coz I made the pudding, and she thinks its very christmassy...and me being an asian and muslim some more...Dia tanya, mana belajar? Lor Maria, Mak saya slalu buat puding roti ni ma.... he..he.. So, I told her about what it is like in Malaysia, i told her about my Uncle Collin in Malacca ( Merry Christmas uncle collin.. ) I also told her about muhibbah where we respect each other's culture and I have a Christian neighbours and friends and someone close to the family. Baru lah mereka semua faham... =). Tapi kan, pudding tu bukan lah makanan utk christmas je, kita kat malaysia dah expose dgn macam macam western food smua, diorang je yang tak tau.he...he....

This is the video of Jamb, Pingu's and Hitler's brother. Jamb was given away to Ayumi, Farhan's friend. From the video, I can see that Jamb is bigger than Pingu and Hitler. Kata Ayumi, Jamb kuat makan he..he.. enjoy the video... the funny bits is towards the end of the video. =)

Sejak akhir akhir ni, ulat hitam ( millipede) tu is growing massively in numbers, especially kat bukit , lepas bridge tuh. Now dah attack masuk dalam rumah pulak. Oh My God... Tak Mau !!!!
I just can’t look at them crawling around like that..geli lah. Tapi Ulat bulu tak geli plak. Mak Tam once told me, we are bigger than them. But still, I cannot take it. Whenever I saw these creepy crawlies, walaupun seekor, terasa mcm dia dah merayap kat kaki, tengkuk,, Bleh rasa mcm dia nak datang kat kita, bukan dia sorang, tapi dengan geng geng dia . Pastu mula la, imagination gone wild...( ni lah jadinya, banyak sangat tgk movies dari kecik sampai tua mcm ni)... eeiiii.... tak bleh....tak bleh... Typing this posting pun dah menyeramkan.

Nak pijak lantai bilik pun naik takut.... TAKUT !! GELI !!! Uiiihhhhhhhhh........ Tak nak ingat...Tak nak ingat... Lagi pulak hari tu Kak Za cerita ulat ni bleh merayap masuk dalam telinga and stuff masa kita tgh tido ( kalau dia naik masuk ke bilik laaa)...MAKKKK !!!!!!! Tak Mau !!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Guys !!!
These babies are now one year old. err... not so baby anymore.....he..he... a one year old cat is equivalent to a 15 years old human.
These babies were born on the 10 of December 2007. I was in Singapore at that time and can't wait to balik Shah ALam to see these babies..he..he.. Was kind of worried leaving Belle with Kak Ika and kinda thinking of boarding her at the clinic, but the Doc says it would be just fine if u lock her up in the cage, lagi senang dia nak beranak he..he... So before leaving, mak bagi a basket and mak's fav towel for Belle... so sweet of mak he..he...walaupun tak berapa favour kucing =)

if u look closely, there's a straight line formed by the clouds, probably jugak plane punya trail. and there's a lot of parrots on the tree too he..he.. ( This was taken during ramadhan 08)

Love is in the air. No, I am not in love.... or Do I? Muahahaaa..ha..ha..ha..ha... ( evil laugh mcm Gargamel from Smurf)
I dunno whether the summer has started or not, but today, it's kinda sunny with a warm breeze.( I kinda missed the cold breeze already he..he...I am kinda scared of summer actually, the heat is not good for my birthmark plus, I haven't done my treatment since i got here, so, be prepared for the worst coz the heat will reach up to 41c I am told, but, I hope I will be strong enough and everything will be okay...insyallah) .
Not too bad coz it's still 28c. It's also cloudy although the sun is shining so very brightly. The sky is filled with fluffy clouds which reminds me of CareBears. The cartoon show with the cute bears with perut buncit yang comel in their CareALot town he..he...Tenderheart, CheerHeart, apa apa lagi la with their cloud car teaching us to always do good deeds. Dulu-dulu zaman video, ada la my dad bought me the movie. Me and my sister suka sangat watch it..... Hantu cartoon betul kami berdua he..he...

I saw a big giant heart in the sky. among the clouds he..he.. this photo was taken using my SE W910i ,( i didn't bring my Olympus =( ) ala fon SE tu 2 megapixel je, so tak la cantik sangat the photo but still i nampak the heart in the sky he..he....
So much for the 'Love is in the air' huh?

Salam Aidiladha from Adelaide
I did not go for Eid Prayers with Suzie and Kak Nita. Then later, Suzie accompanied me to Flinders Medical Center (FMC) which was just around the corner. We walked to FMC. It's a very sunny day today.

After the meeting the doctor and listen to all that I've heard before and all those nothing can be done thingy ( Okay... i have to admit, it's kinda depressing, but no harm trying right?) =) , Me and Suzie took a bus to Registry. To pass time, we duduk at 24 hrs computer lab and watch Awan Dania he..he...he...By lunch time, Kak Nita pick us up and we head home. Kak Nita pun sibuk jugak hari ni kat Lab dia, dgn 'anak anak' dia, dia punya writing and article review lagi, and with me and my appointment, we didn't join the celebration kat city. Sorry....keadaan tak mengizinkan...
Me, Suzie, kak nita and Kak Liza had our Raya lunch at Suzie's. Suzie buat nasi ayam for the lunch . I did my 'ayam Kuali' as per kak nita's request. he..he... Then , we went to raya with our AUnty Janet. We were telling Janet about the raya celebration in Malaysia and Janet calls herself as Aunty Janet, the closest relative for us he..he... kelakar lah Janet ni. Then Janet told us about how she will be celebrating chrismas this year.
Basically, that's how my aidiladha went and tumorrow, back to office. =p

WHat a Week......Pheww...
It's been a hectic week last week, I didn't even go to the office. Jahat kan...
On Monday, went to the city with SUzie and Izati bawak Kak Su and Kak Mas, to meet Prof Shukri and Dr Zakaria from USM. They were here for the 'Globalizing....something...something.... religion' confrence in University of Adelaide. Uni Adelaide pun satu punya la tak peka dgn orang yang nak datang confrence tu, tak de lansung Sign board atau penunjuk, we end up bawak the delegates from this end of North terrace to that end of north terrace. Kesian kat Prof and Dr, mereka pun bukanlah muda sangat pun he..he.. sorry Prof Shukri and Dr Zack. I was at the city from 9 am to about 8 pm. Lama kan...
It's my first time spending a whole day in the city. Something bad happened on Monday too which is a total Frustration !!! Tak pernah mimpi lah nak terjadi sampai mcm ni, Kat adelaide pulak, Kat Malaysia pun tak pernah jadi mcm ni, =( i dun wanna talk about it. Dah ketentuan Allah mcm ni, so kita terima, Dugaan di bumi Adelaide hari isnin tu, Husna terima dgn Tabah. Tapi dalam pada tu, sempat gak Grab something form Nine West he...he... untuk memujuk hati yang lara.... =p (No Photos coz too traumatized)
Oh ya, Ba flew to Mekah for haji today too... Tak ckp lama pun dgn Ba coz masing masing control he...he... However, Husna the Ratu air mata, meleleh gak la air mata.
By now on sunday, Ba dah wukuf di Arafah as what he smsed me yesterday.
On Tuesday, after dah settlekan everything in Uni, pi hantar Kak Ogy kat Airport. She's going back to Malaysia for good. Then Kak nita took us to Budget Meat with kereta Kak Zatul yang baru di take over dari kak ogy. The reason for pergi Budget Meat is to buy meat la he..he.. Actually, Kak Za and Kak Nita ada tetamu dari Melbourne. I am in-charge of dessert and Suzie for Sayur. Dah ada kat Budget Meat, beli lah Chicken Salami. On Wednesday, I am suppose to go on a free trip with Mak Tam and the delegates but i didn't go. I have to finish packing coz i am going to pindah rumah. I Think i have too many Barang for such a small room in Twnhouse 29, tapi, tak la banyak mana pun. I called Gary to minta izin...cewah... sangat polite kan, minta izin nak masuk rumah baru on Friday. Gary kata okay. So I called Shazz to tell her bila I can angkat Nadia's Stuff yang tak kurang banyaknya jugak tuh he..he...So, janji dgn Shazz pagi jumaat. I basically Pack and Pack on Wednesday. Then Malam tu pi jenguk rumah Izati. Izati is leaving tumorow and she tinggalkan TV and meja TV dia kat Husna hu hu hu...Sweet memories of going to Lion's Bargain dgn Nadia and Izati with a BUS with the intention to buy a Television for those two girls. Nasib baik terjumpa Zul and Shiha kat sana.
Pagi Khamis, Saja tergerak hati Husna nak pi jumpa Gary tanya boleh ke take the rumah baru's key today, Bawak skali Chrismast Card utk dia and Helen and Janet and the front office girls. Ye la, diorang kan nak raya, mesti la seronok kalau dapat Kad raya kan....saya yakin, anda semua juga berasa seronok jikalau dapat kad raya pada hari raya aidilfitri, betul tak? he...he... FInally, Gary pun kata, i can take the keys kul 5 petang khamis. Yipee Yeay !!!!! Then, me, kak Nita and Mak Tam Suzie pi hantar Izati kat airport. Balik dah si Izati...rasanya macam baru semalam je peristiwa "SELAMATKAN TUNANG SAYA" terjadi..how fast time flies....

Dapat je kunci rumah baru on Thursday tu, Husna dgn segala kudrat yang ada pun mula la mengangkut smua barang yang ada. SMUA.... yang tinggal hanyalah barang yang sangat berat and kotak besar. Male species kan memang dah extinct kat sini, jadi, nak tak nak, kena la angkut sendiri he...he....Mak Tam tak available ptg tu coz she was at the city with the delegates. Gurbin plak still kat Office. Hanieh tolong angkat barang gak, but since dia pun baru recover dari operation, tak bagi la dia angkat barang sangat. Entah la berapa kali la Husna ulang alik mengangkut segala barang. But malam tu, ada la buat dua trip angkat remainder barang dgn Mak Tam like my Tv and all. Tenkiu Mak Tam !!! Masuk je rumah baru, Husna ubah the almari and katil dulu and make the bed, sebab nanti malam selepas habis buat kerja boleh terus landing. I was drop dead tired, sakitnya badan, tulang empat kerat smua. aduiii......Kalau lah Zee ada kat sini....tapi yang ada hanya kerusi urut $2 kat Marion je...Jadilah tu... =)
Jumaat, hari ni birthday Pak Tua. Happy Birthday Pak Tua/supirman yang nun jauh di malaysia !!!. Early morning, pi angkut barang nadia, Shazz tgh pack up her kitchen stuff. Again, Mak Tam tak de coz Mak Tam bawak Kak Su pi city. Nak tergelak tol, angkat barang Nadia susun dalam trolley, punya la strategize susun barang batch by batch, pastu tolak trolley yang bising tu, paling takut masa Tolak barang batch yang cermin dia, kalau lah pecah, mana den nak cari ganti oi....Nasib baik, Nadia wrap cermin tu dgn Bubble Wrap he..he.. Then i sambung lagi pi rumah 29, angkut lagi barang yang tertinggal. I wish i am 'supergirl' anak sedara SUPERMAN and WONDERWOMAN by this time he..he...
Then petang, kak Nita nak datang tgk rumah and dia kata dia bawak dinner, so, Kak nita, Kak Za, Mak Tam Suzie with kak Mas and Kak su pun datang la makan dan tgk rumah sambil tgk miss congeniality.
Sabtu, i took a bus to city, then another bus to airport to see Mak Tam and to accompany her with the delegates smua. Today the delegates nak balik ke Malaysia dah. After depa naik plane, we left airport and pi makan kat City at Safa Kebab.

2. Al -fatihah buat Arwah timbalan Dekan fakulti Mass Com , UiTM yang pulang ke rahmatullah dalam kemalangan di New Zeland.
3. Selamat menyambut Hari Raya Aidiladha buat smua =p. Husna akan beraya Haji kat FLinders Medical Center thn ni.
4. Nadia, rumah kita ada Washing Machine yang sangat Best dan besar he..he..he...
All in all, although its been a hectic week, but SYUKUR ALHAMDULILLAH.... =) smuanya dah selamat.
On Monday, went to the city with SUzie and Izati bawak Kak Su and Kak Mas, to meet Prof Shukri and Dr Zakaria from USM. They were here for the 'Globalizing....something...something.... religion' confrence in University of Adelaide. Uni Adelaide pun satu punya la tak peka dgn orang yang nak datang confrence tu, tak de lansung Sign board atau penunjuk, we end up bawak the delegates from this end of North terrace to that end of north terrace. Kesian kat Prof and Dr, mereka pun bukanlah muda sangat pun he..he.. sorry Prof Shukri and Dr Zack. I was at the city from 9 am to about 8 pm. Lama kan...
It's my first time spending a whole day in the city. Something bad happened on Monday too which is a total Frustration !!! Tak pernah mimpi lah nak terjadi sampai mcm ni, Kat adelaide pulak, Kat Malaysia pun tak pernah jadi mcm ni, =( i dun wanna talk about it. Dah ketentuan Allah mcm ni, so kita terima, Dugaan di bumi Adelaide hari isnin tu, Husna terima dgn Tabah. Tapi dalam pada tu, sempat gak Grab something form Nine West he...he... untuk memujuk hati yang lara.... =p (No Photos coz too traumatized)
Oh ya, Ba flew to Mekah for haji today too... Tak ckp lama pun dgn Ba coz masing masing control he...he... However, Husna the Ratu air mata, meleleh gak la air mata.
By now on sunday, Ba dah wukuf di Arafah as what he smsed me yesterday.
On Tuesday, after dah settlekan everything in Uni, pi hantar Kak Ogy kat Airport. She's going back to Malaysia for good. Then Kak nita took us to Budget Meat with kereta Kak Zatul yang baru di take over dari kak ogy. The reason for pergi Budget Meat is to buy meat la he..he.. Actually, Kak Za and Kak Nita ada tetamu dari Melbourne. I am in-charge of dessert and Suzie for Sayur. Dah ada kat Budget Meat, beli lah Chicken Salami. Bye Bye Sharan...
Sharan has gone back to SIngapore for good today. Sharan is Nadia's housemate. She is also a close fren to Gurbin, my Housemate. Sharan is a teacher back in Singapore.

Cherry Picking @ Stella Creek
Today, I went cherry picking. Yun and Izuddin pick me up at Flinders Housing at about 8.15 a.m. , rite after i finish cooking Ayam Kuali for Mak Tam at her place. (Mak Tam is having some guest from Malaysia. Mak Tam masak nasi lemak for breakfast and I helped Mak Tam to cook the Ayam Kuali for her guest. The nite before, I baked bread butter pudding for the Cherry picking trip, so I baked one tray for Mak Tam too.)

Dah pun siap Ayam Kuali nyaa... ( tu yang percik percik tu dari sambal mak tam ek...Mak Tam lupa resepi Sambal Pak Tua jadi dia buat sambal lain...)

Breakfast for Mak Tam punya Very important Husna he...he... seronok betul Husna susun timun, Nasi Lemak, Sambal and kicap. So, the journey to adelaide hill begins. This time they convoyed guna jalan luar instead of us guna jalan dalam semalam. At some points i saw the roads that we used yesterday. Its like, semalam kami guna jalan dari arah utara, today, these people guna jalan dari arah selatan. Haaaiiihhhh.. But Mak Tam, I remember the road now... then we can go again with Kak Su and Kak Mas eyyhh....he..he..
The place is beautiful. Tgk je la gambar kat sini okay... the owner of the cherry farm told us that we can only 'help' him to keep his business if we only put 1 out of 19 cherries we picked in our mouth, and not 19 in the mouth and 1 in the basket ha..ha..ha... but we had fun petik the cherries and put straight into the mouth he..he..he...

Cherries @ Stella Creekin the end, i managed to pick 2.3 kilos of cherries. The most i picked are the dark cherries and a little bit of white cherries.. Haa... bolehla buat part time he..he.. no la, just kidding. ( i gave half of the cherries to Mak Tam and her guest sebab Mak Tam kirim beli Cherry but, tak de jual, kena petik sendiri he..he...)...
Hasil Kutipan Cukai Kastam... ehhh... bukan....bukan, Hasil kutipan husna =PLater after Cherry Picking, we went for picnic kat i forgot the name of the park. he..he.. again, gambar boleh tgk kat sini. Banyak food and smua pun sedap. Lepas makan kenyang, we went to Mount Lofty pulak. Lepas tu, masing masing pun balik.

Adelaide Hill
We got lost at Adelaide Hill today. Worst, I am the navigator!!! Haiiiyooooh.... But I followed exactly what that Google thingy told me to do. Okay, a few days before, Me and Mak Tam Suzie was trying to get the direction to Stella's Creek for cherrie picking. Stella pun advise to follow the Google punya directions. So, kami pun buat online and I print it out and study the Map.
May sound easy okay... sampai je kat Highway, haaa.. tunggang terbalik directions dgn signboard tak sama. MACAM MANA NIH???? dalam map kata Adelaide Crafers Highway but kat signboard Princess Highway. Map kata masuk Main St on the left, Main St punya signboard pun Tarak!!! We went as far as nak sampai Handorf dah...but then pusing balik. Later we gamble je la masuk kat Mount Lofty Exit. Then i took the print out map and directions and tanya kat Aussie yang tgh jalan nak pi church. So, kami ikut, okay, we are on the right track mcm dalam directions now....
Oh yeah, Kak Mas drove us in Kak Lin and Abg Man's car. WHo's Kak Mas? She's from Canberra. Datang ke adelaide for a conference.
So i pun navigate kak Mas ikut arahan dalam directions, wahhh Kami pun meredah la Ulu Adelaide ni, ada kambing biri biri, all kind of Ladangs, Lembu, Kuda and all. Sampai lah ke Merchants Rd. The direction starts to buat perangai again here. Kami ikut the direction to turn tight at Merchant Rd and we ended up at a jalan yang macam denai kat ULU SEPRI... sebelah kanan gaung, sebelah kiri bukit tingggi nun.... So, Pusing balik, time is running short, Stella's Creek pun nowhere to be seen and dah nak tutup. So we drove back ke pangkal jalan.

Yun ajaked me on Thursday and sayang plak kalau tak gi, walaupun, dan janji nak pi dgn Mak Tam on saturday. Tak pa... pi dua kali pun tak pa...Tapi since dah sesat tadi, lagi seronok nak pi esok....They are going to Stella's Creek too...Let see this time, jalan mana yang depa nak guna and sampai ke tak... he..he...
