Puteh is down with FLu

Puteh demam ! Gosh... This is her first time demam in 8 years. The reason why she was like choking yesterday was because she has running nose, hidung tersumbat which makes her uncomfortable. According to the doc, Dr Melissa, it is normal for cats with massive fur and at this age to get this kind of flu. Kesian Puteh...

Dr Melissa gave Puteh 2 injections plus a few other remedies. I have to observe puteh again today. To avoid us bersilat nak bagi Puteh makan her antiabiotic pills, instead Dr Melissa kata kita boleh bawak puteh pi Vet for the next three days for her antibiotic japs. If puteh doesnt recover till monday, dr Melissa says we have to take puteh for X-ray to see her lungs.

Meanwhile, Puteh is being kept in the pet pending case coz the doc say i should minimize puteh's movement that will make her not to pant so much. While in there, Pingu and Hitler kept droping by to say hi to their Aunty Puteh.

Haiihhh.... i know.. I know...

I was in the kitchen, cooking lunch with Kakak when my mom came and asked me to drive her to emergency unit in UMMC. Obviously, her condition is getting even worst since we went to UMMC last week. The ubat seems to not been working so well. Hairan jugak...

So I go and get ready and drove my mom to UMMC. Parking was Jgn ckp la... at lunch hour pulak... So my mom, being one of the volunteer committee in UMMC talked to the guards and they let us leave the car there and I rushed my mom to the emergency unit. So we went through registration which is stage by stage...ni pun paling cepat...walaupun agak tertunggu-tunggu. After a thorough check up,X rays...the doctor prescribe the ubat. THANK GOD tak kena admit kat hospital.

At this hour, my mom is already sleeping after her medication. I hope she will get well soon though i can hear her coughing from my room. Not only my mom, but dad is not so well too since he got back from Haji. Yeah, this things worries me. WORRIES me a lot.

Imagine if i am not there tadi when My mom asked me to drive her to UMMC. There's nobody else kat rumah at that time. Knowing my mom, she has a strong will power, i know that...but... its not easy for me to write this. but yes I am worried. They are not getting younger like Mr Benjamin Button. They are aging and .... Gosh... i wish i could be here with them but i have my duties to be fulfilled. Arghhh....

CHe puteh on the other hand, is having dificulties breathing and is breathing thru her mouth. Her nose is somehat like stuffy.

Masa Che puteh datang mengadu at me, it was already 9.30. Che puteh seems to be uncomfortable like she is choking. Kakak said, she vommited earlier. Che Puteh memang selalu buang hairball dia coz che Puteh bnyk fur. But tonite dunno what she did sampai she is very very uneasy and me lagi lah uneasy...seeing her and hearing her not breathing proplerly. Me and my Bro rushed her to the vet only to find out that the vet is already closed. Che Puteh was meowing but the meowing doesnt sound normal. I have no choice rather than to go home and wait for tumorrow. I let Che puteh lie down in Kak Longs room sejak balik tadi. and i dok keep on checking on her every half and hour. She looks tired and still mcm tercekik. CHe puteh pun dah aging jugak with her tantrums everywhere...

I am going to check on Che Puteh now...

Back in Malaysia for my Thesis purposes, some important matters and to be with my loved ones (family, saudara mara, close friends and my Kucings).Yeah, also to makan food that are not available in Adelaide ( menurut kata Mak Tam, makan all u can while u are in Malaysia he..he...).

Suddenly, 30 days seems so short...but its good to be back and catch things up

Sizzling Adelaide....

The temperature for today, Tuesday, January 13th 2009 has risen up to 41c which leaves us sizzling in the heat. I have been warned by my 'senior' here about the massive heatwave. They warned me and advised me on the dos and don'ts. Thanks you guys! =)


The heat dah start masa kami balik dari crabbing lagi. ( Yes, we went crabbing again on Monday = Tuesday night.) Now is actually the crabbing season, so Crab all you can crab peeps!!! We arrived home from Brighton Beach at about 2 in the morning and the wind starts to get warmer than ever.

Then on Tuesday morning, I did my laundry and guess what, the clothes are all dried within one hour he..he...ish..ish..ish....Jakun nye... tak pernah jumpa Summer la katakan...he..he...


The heat is Ya Allah, jgn ckp la... But yours truly, jalan pi uni at 12 noon masa matahari tgh terik. Alhamdulillah, all went well. Yeah, at least I dapat rasa the warm breeze they told me about kan...dengar cerita je tak achi la, kena la merasa jugak kan... The heat, UV rays and segala mak nenek even the pollen count is too strong and high. kalau setakat berjalan 10 minit tu boleh la tahan lagi..longer than 10 minits, hmmm..... boleh pengsan he..he....There's a few fire bush reported around Adelaide today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Actually, i intend to post this posting earlier, but something came along the way.

January 9^th was Aizan’s birthday. Who’s Aizan? She’s my best fren back in SIGS, JB dulu. It was in 1996. I baru left SGGS in Penang after PMR. Yeah.. i go to GS a lot except for section 2 in shah alam which is a co-ed. Well, masa tu baru pindah ke SIGS and i was placed kat hostel coz my rumah is in Singapore. I dunno why but masa kat SIGS was my BLURRIEST time of all. BLUR, MANDOM , SLOW entah kenapa entah...

But, i had a lot of fun time with Aizan masa tu. During waktu rehat, makan ice cream ( lupa plak nama ice cream tu..) beli kat KoOp sekolah then makan belakang Ko Op dgn Aliyah. Ikut je la mana Aizan and aliyah pergi and apa yang dorang buat masa tu... There’s a lot more to tell he..he..At least I got gud company masa tu. Oh ya, ada sekali tu masa Sukan, Aizan punya Shoe bag tu hilang. Huh.. kelam kabut masa tuh...i have the gambar masa sukan tu, tapi kat Malaysia so this entry will be entry tidak bergambar he..he...

Not to mention peristiwa Aizan dgn Kak Stella Hanim he..he..he... Gelak gak la sorang sorang bila teringat kisah kelakar dulu dulu masa duduk hostel SIGS. ( Seronok now dah jumpa kak Stella, other seniors and fellow frends from SIGS kat facebook) =p

Not long after that, i decided to join my family in Shah Alam. Dad was transferred to the HQ after a few years in Singapore. So, before i left, Aizan and a few other friends menyanyi and record dalam tape. Giler kelakar sangat. Lagu patriotic pun ada skali. I still keep the tape. Teirngat rentak lagu tu tapi tak ingat tajuk dah he...he...( Gelak sensorang...he..he..)

Lepas pindah, I still keep in contact with Aizan thru letters. We shared a lot of stuff, piece of mind.... Zaman tu belum zaman broadband lagi so kita tulis surat je ler...kadang kadang telefon. After SPM, masuk Uni, pun still keep contact lagi. I still keep the stacks of letters and birthday cards Aizan sent me. Managed to selamatkan dari di makan anai anai masa rumah kena serang teruk dgn anai anai dulu. The anai anai ate most of my notes esp my HR and Econs ( anai anai terpelajar kot...he..he...) Aizan is a gud writer, believe me. She’s gud. Dia memang pandai menulis. ( Hey Aizan, ingat tak Razor Roth? He..he...)

It has been a long time since i last saw Aizan. About 13 years now. But nasib baik la ada Friendster and facebook to keep in touch. And yeah, blog too...

. I cried this evening during this show on TV, it’s a Pet show. This family was about to put their pet mouse to sleep co pf some health complication. They wanted the doc to inject the ubat bagi mati tu depan dorang. Then the mouse squeaked coz sakit and masuk celah tangan the owner. They pat and usap the mouse and not long after that the mouse pun menghembuskan nafas terakhir. The whole family cried. I cried too, even tho it’s ajust a mouse but its their pet and dah bela lama. Ni bukan mouse yang kotor tu. Cantik mouse dia. Pasrt paling sedih masa they wrap up the mouse dgn hand towel. The Vet pun mcm nak menangis gak. Well, it reminds me of my cat, Simba yang also had to be put to sleep sebab dia dapat penyakit yang tak boleh di ubati..but I dun hav the courage to see the vet inject Simba.. I guess, i am a berperikebinatangan as much as berperikemanusiaan type of person.
